New year started September 1st and its time to get ready for the 2026 Club Governance and Board of Directors look for candidates.

Dear Member,

If you are interested in being on the board and have an interest in helping run the club there are several opportunities to get involved on the Club Governance Board.

They are

President –

A gun club president’s role is to lead the club, preside over all meetings, and oversee general club operations. You would be responsible for setting club direction, implementing programs and ensuring our clubs long time health.

Vice President-

Vice president primarily involves supporting the president, stepping in for them when absent, and assisting with various club operations, such as overseeing committees, managing finances, and ensuring member safety and adherence to rules.

Treasurer-

Manage the organization’s finances, which includes handling money, preparing budgets, keeping financial records, and ensuring legal and financial compliance.

Secretary-

As an administrative role your role would be keeping records, managing correspondence, and ensuring smooth communication. Key duties include taking meeting minutes, maintaining membership records, handling official documents like the club’s charter and bylaws, and issuing official notices and correspondence. 

Board Member-

Your role involves governing the club’s operations, including strategic planning, financial management, and setting rules for property use and member conduct. They are responsible for the club’s overall health and sustainability by overseeing staff, managing finances, and ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. This includes serving as an ambassador for the club, overseeing committees, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the facilities. 

As a member of the club governance you would be responsible to help open the club once or twice a month on Saturday or Sunday throughout the year.

An email will go out to you to vote for the 2026 Board vote and will close the third Tuesday in December.

We also have an appointed position to run the rifle range. If you are interested have the time to help with orientations and up keep of the range please email me.
