Annual Nominations and Election

Greetings, Membership! 2018 is nearly done…it’s been a great year and much has been accomplished. It’s almost time to elect new Officers and Directors to guide Four Point in 2019.

As all members should know, Four Point is a not-for-profit organization managed entirely by volunteers, your Officers and Directors. The Board of Directors meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at 7pm to address and resolve issues and make decisions on behalf of the entire club. The rest of our volunteer time is spent mostly on day-to-day activities to run the business. We work together to make the best business decisions possible and to keep our club maintained and running smoothly. Needless to say, any and all volunteer service to the club is encouraged and greatly appreciated!

Please ask yourself some questions. Do YOU have what it takes to help run Four Point? Is there some knowledge or skill that could benefit the management of the Club? Is there some change you’d like to see? Would you enjoy being a part of Four Point’s development and growth? Do you have a little extra time on your hands to do something valuable and to be proud of? Feel free to ask any of the current Officers or Directors any questions you might have about serving as an officer or director.

Nominations for Four Point positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Directors will be accepted through and including Nov 13th. You can nominate yourself or other people (with their consent). Notify any officer or director of your nomination(s) or stop by the clubhouse during club hours and write your name on the whiteboard. We will publish a ballot of nominees following the November meeting, and you’ll be given an opportunity to vote online at your convenience prior to the Annual Membership Meeting on Dec 11th, after which voting results will be announced.
